Former Korean representative at the Mathematics Olympiad . Poet. Recipient of the Contemporary Tanka Newcomer Award. Founder of a cosmetics brand. Talent affiliated with Horipro. A genius in many ways, but to me he is an international cultural economist. At the end of his book "Content Borderless" there is a conversation between us. He is currently writing his doctoral thesis at Yokohama National University. A genius in many ways.

How to apply force

I do a lot of different things. I founded a company and hired employees. I switch myself depending on the day of the week. When I'm doing a program, I'm a celebrity, and when I'm doing research, I'm a scholar. Otherwise, I don't think I could live my life properly. A life where I change my face depending on the day of the week, and decide my role depending on the time.

Future

Up until now, my life has been a series of individual dots, but now it is becoming a single line. I am looking forward to seeing myself as a person who can be clearly seen as a line in ten years' time.

◆School

School is a place of pressure. When I was in Korea, I had to get good grades in a competitive society and I had to shape myself as a decent person. It was a place where I was fighting with myself. I am still attending graduate school and I am under good pressure. The feeling that I have to do it, read, and learn is very important. I think that by facing this pressure, my life is growing more and more.

At first, school was hard and there were days when I didn't want to go because of the pressure, but now I like school. It's a place that gives me good pressure and good stimulation. I want to be a part of school for the rest of my life.

◆Message for you guys

I live my life as a person who cannot be defined in one word. As I wrote in the book "Content Borderless," I think that in today's world, we are becoming people who cannot be expressed in one word. In the past, it was important to live a life of mastering one thing, such as being a civil servant or a scholar, but now it is important to live a life of diversity and three-dimensionality. I hope that I can absorb various aspects of myself without feeling too much pressure and become a wonderful, three-dimensional person.
