Blockchains are difficult to understand. That
is because the blockchain is a complex of underlying technologies such as P2P,
asymmetric key cryptography, cryptographic hash function, smart contracts etc.,
so the organization is hard to understand compared to the net.
This book says that Airbnb and uber are businesses
with handling charges due to the concentration of information, and if you use
blockchain each member can bypass the organization and can operate on its own
initiative. We can also bypass taxi companies, and hotels, as well as sharing
economy businesses. But it’s unclear whether this is not possible without using
a blockchain?
The "autonomous agent" that appears
in this book refers to hiring people and robots, everyday decision making to
their programming, automatically executing transactions and payment with smart
contracts. I am counting on this. However,
for that reason, I want to know what makes blockchain an inevitability.
Various innovations are brought about by IoT,
such as automated transportation, infrastructure management, and the optimization
of agriculture etc. I am also counting on this. However, I feel like IoT and
P2P are almost achievable, and I want to clarify how this is related to
blockchains.
Open data is also mentioned. By putting
government data on the blockchain, it will be possible to obtain higher
efficiency in utilization and confidence. I am especially counting on this, but
I cannot explain exactly what will happen, so I'd like to try and understand it
better somehow
While exciting, I guess you could say that I
cannot quite understand or get a feel for blockchain?
So, I think I would like to
try it.
The E-government of Estonia also appears in
this book. Using a blockchain, they gave a digital ID to the people, and things
such as tax payment, banking system, transportation use, school grades
management, medical records information were all digitized. I want such a touch feeling.
The book says that Estonia’s blockchain
e-government has made it possible for companies to be established in 20
minutes. In collaboration with Eltes which is trying to develop that technology
in Japan, and consultations with Eltes have begun to determine whether
a special startup zone can
be created in CiP, Pop Tec special zone. I think I will touch it.
In addition, this book, with respect to the
music ecosystem, suggests that artists receive rewards in micropayments
transparently and in real time. This is also being advanced under the support
of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and PopTec Special Economic Zone
in order to advance an artist ID + database construction named “artist commons.”
In my usual way, I plan to involve myself in
these efforts, with an excited outlook, while ascertaining the possibilities,
and taking action.
