Super☆Baseball!

SuperBaseball Project@Yokohama DeNA BayStars Creative Sports Lab - the Bays.
A four day superhuman sports hackathon was held.
The 38 people included those in super pitching, super batting, super fan goods, super spectator seats, super balls, six super MR teams, researchers, students, banks, advertising agencies, and manufacturers.
Baseball will expand!
The development results will be revealed at BayStars matches.

"Ultra Pitching" Award of Excellence
Pull back with the right, throw with the left. I want to throw a 200 km high speed ball.
You pull it back, and let if fly. I tried it too, but while there is a tactile sense of of the body extending, it doesn’t mean that it’s easy to throw a fastball.
But if I practice, I might be able to become a superhuman too.

“Super Fan Goods,” another Award of Excellence.
This is creation of an area where the fans getting off the train and heading to the stadium all wear items which shine blue, and, in synchronization with each other, the streets, stadiums and shops become blue.

"Super spectator seats."
The chairs and floor shake noisily when a runner enters home base.
When high-fiving teammates after hitting a home run, the gloves shake at the same time.
It’s a tactile system where the players on the field and the spectator seats are synchronized.

"Super ball."
It’s a ball which glows and disappears, and allows everyone to throw a magic ball.
Although it’s glowing, the light goes out depending on the number of revolutions. It turns red and blue.
The surface is colored with LED + optical fiber.
Play with a glowing ball on a gloomy field, and if it disappears, it’s a magic ball.
My initial motivation for participating in super sports was the fact that even I would be able to throw magic balls.
Isn’t this getting close to that?

The development of IT infrastructure for 2020 is advancing.

"A panel discussion on the promotion of ICT to society as a whole for 2020" @ the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is tackling development measures for IT infrastructure for Tokyo 2020.
I am participating from the position of the likes of digital signage and advanced video distribution.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications is in the process of developing numerous action plans.
These include the implementation of multilingual translation technology, the promotion of the use of open data, the promotion of foreign development of broadcasting content, the development of free public wireless LAN, the implementation of 5G, the promotion of 4K8K, and dealing with cyber security.

With regard to the IoT hospitality cloud project, there was also a report on demonstration experiments held in Takeshiba and Shibuya.
These included the likes of multilingual information provision by digital signage, and ticketless entry to music events.
I also participated as a representative of the Digital Signage Consortium and the CiP council.

With regard to sophisticated video distribution systems, demonstration experiments will be conducted at ten locations and we will proceed with the development of the 4K8K distribution platform. The Next Generation Contents Distribution Forum is working on this. I am involved as the board chairman.

I supplemented the development circumstances of the likes of cloud-type digital signage, 4K8K distribution systems, and reasonable ticket resale systems.
I realized that many activities that I represent, including the Digital Signage Consortium, the Next Generation Contents Distribution Forum, the CiP Association, and the Superhuman Sports Association, are all involved.
